Your First Visit to Our Tucson Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

We understand that coming into a new health care office, even if you have been referred, is a new and unknown experience. It is for that reason that we will make you as comfortable as possible.

The major purpose is to get to know you and to determine if you have a condition that can be helped with chiropractic care. We ask that you take a few moments to complete the necessary paperwork in order for Dr. Westerman to understand your health issues are and to give some insight into your health history.

You will then have a consultation with Dr. Westerman. He takes this time to understand how your health issues are impacting your quality of life. A physical examination is conducted which may include x-rays.  This ensures nothing is missed in determining the cause of your problem. The entire process generally takes about an hour.

Dr. Jim Asks some important questions of interest to Tucson residents - Chiropractor Tucson Dr. Jim Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Tucson and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Tucson folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
